FAQs

Do you install in homes?

Fun Factory Sensory Gym started installing custom designed sensory gyms in homes after the need for reinforcement therapy became apparent. We have hundreds of parents calling in weekly to express their growing concerns over their child's time outside of therapy. Many of the parent's we work with take a hands on approach to the development of their children. Our resolution was to begin installing sensory gyms in the comfort of the child's home.

Why are in home sensory gyms important?

  • Children can now develop their skills on a daily basis from the comfort of their home.
  • Improved Vestibular and proprioceptive systems
  • Improved posture and writing skills
  • Physical and cognitive developments
  • Emotional regulation
  • Improved quality of sleep and sleep schedule
How long does the entire process take?

Depending on the size of the project the entire process can take anywhere from one day to two weeks. In home sensory gym installs are completed in one day. Smaller clinics are completed over the course of one weekend. We prefer to work on the weekends so we don't interfere with the treatment schedules of the therapists and children.

By the time your clinic opens back up on the following Monday your sensory gym will be installed and ready for use by your therapists and the kiddos they treat.

How much does this cost?

In our 26 years of installing custom designed sensory gyms we have yet to encounter two clinics or spaces that are identical. Because spaces come in all shapes and sizes our sensory gyms are priced according to space and equipment needs.

Where are you located?

We have two manufacturing facilities based in Wisconsin and New Jersey.

Fun Factory Sensory Gym doesn't own or operate any therapy clinics.

Will my clinic benefit from a sensory gym install?

Your clinic will undoubtedly benefit from installing a Fun Factory Sensory Gym. Hundreds of our first time customers have now branched into second and third locations because of the exponential growth having a custom designed sensory gym has brought them.

Ways in which our sensory gyms benefit your clinic

  1. Parents and families want their children to receive the best services and treatment available. Installing a custom designed sensory gym shows that you have a vested interest in the development and future of their children. Incorporating sensory gym use into your early intervention and sensory integration treatment plans will have parents astonished by the rate at which their children are developing.
  2. Therapists are compassionate selfless individuals who have committed their lives to the betterment of children with special needs. With the installation of a custom designed sensory gym your therapists will now be able to expand upon their treatment options with the kiddos they treat. This means more efficient sensory integration therapy, optimized treatment plans, and allowing therapists to do what they love, helping.
  3. Community Outreach has always been a point of emphasis for our customers. By investing in a sensory gym you're investing in the futures of the children in your community. Our clinics are able to bring in families from surrounding communities because our sensory gyms help therapists and clinic owners rid themselves of wait lists. With more efficient treatment plans, an open floor space, and multiple therapists treating at once you'll be able to serve more children.
  4. Expansion is a by product of installing a Fun Factory Sensory Gym. It is our mission to help you achieve your goals. Our sensory gyms are designed to optimize the flow and functionality of not just your treatment space but your entire clinic. With the alleviation of cluttering, wait lists, and space limitations, your clinic will now be operating at optimal levels.
Do you offer financing?

We offer financing to qualifying customers at 0 % interest for up to 12 months with fixed monthly installment payments.

What is a sensory gym?

A Sensory Gym is a room for active sensory play. The Sensory Gym includes sensory equipment designed to provide proprioceptive and vestibular sensory input -- swings, trampolines, therapy balls, zip lines, rock walls, slides, monkey bars, etc. The sensory gym is more than just a playroom, it gives individuals with autism and other sensory needs access to the equipment they need for sensory regulation, this can lead to a calmer, more focused child which in return will improve sleep schedules, and stave off meltdowns.

  • Our Fun Factory Sensory Gym has been life changing for our family! The entire experience of having the FFSG team in our home was so enjoyable. The crew’s heart and soul is behind the work they’re doing. From the first phone call, FFSG was committed to helping our family and our 3 small children with their various special needs. We have already experienced the calming effects of the net swing and the multiple ways the entire gym provides sensory input and regulation for our intense sensory seekers. What a great tool for our family and more than worth the investment!
