Fun Factory Sensory Gym started installing custom designed sensory gyms in homes after the need for reinforcement therapy became apparent. We have hundreds of parents calling in weekly to express their growing concerns over their child's time outside of therapy. Many of the parent's we work with take a hands on approach to the development of their children. Our resolution was to begin installing sensory gyms in the comfort of the child's home.
Why are in home sensory gyms important?
Depending on the size of the project the entire process can take anywhere from one day to two weeks. In home sensory gym installs are completed in one day. Smaller clinics are completed over the course of one weekend. We prefer to work on the weekends so we don't interfere with the treatment schedules of the therapists and children.
By the time your clinic opens back up on the following Monday your sensory gym will be installed and ready for use by your therapists and the kiddos they treat.
In our 26 years of installing custom designed sensory gyms we have yet to encounter two clinics or spaces that are identical. Because spaces come in all shapes and sizes our sensory gyms are priced according to space and equipment needs.
We have two manufacturing facilities based in Wisconsin and New Jersey.
Fun Factory Sensory Gym doesn't own or operate any therapy clinics.
Your clinic will undoubtedly benefit from installing a Fun Factory Sensory Gym. Hundreds of our first time customers have now branched into second and third locations because of the exponential growth having a custom designed sensory gym has brought them.
Ways in which our sensory gyms benefit your clinic

A Sensory Gym is a room for active sensory play. The Sensory Gym includes sensory equipment designed to provide proprioceptive and vestibular sensory input -- swings, trampolines, therapy balls, zip lines, rock walls, slides, monkey bars, etc. The sensory gym is more than just a playroom, it gives individuals with autism and other sensory needs access to the equipment they need for sensory regulation, this can lead to a calmer, more focused child which in return will improve sleep schedules, and stave off meltdowns.
