Mock Flights to help children with autism practice flying are being held at Nashville Airport
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) National International Airport will be hosting this weekend “Mock Flights” to help kids with autism and developmental disabilities practice the real feeling of flying.
American Airlines will be hosting the event “It’s Cool to Fly American” on Saturday.
A news release has said that this will give families who have children with autism or developmental disabilities the practice to feel what flying is really like. Children will be able to experience touch points like boarding a plane and security checkpoints.
