Our home systems are designed to provide reinforcement therapy. What we mean by reinforcement therapy is taking what was learned in a clinical setting and applying it in the comfort zone of the child in their home environment. With our custom designed in-home sensory gyms children can now develop their fine and gross motor skills in the comfort of their home regardless of the elements. Many parents have noticed an immediate impact our sensory gyms have had on their children’s lives. From increased attentiveness to more developed timing, strength, and rhythm. Daily regulation greatly improves spatial awareness, fine and gross motor skills. Whether your child is a proprioceptive seeker or avoider our sensory gyms are designed to accommodate many needs and abilities. As soon as you contact Fun Factory you will find your questions and concerns will be addressed in the most professional manner by a design consultant. Our design consultants will go through your vision and address what you are looking to achieve in your sensory gym. We request a print, sketch, picture, or anything that will help the design consultants do a comprehensive layout of your room. Once your design is drawn up to increase room functionality and flow we will answer all of your questions and concerns. If you would like to make any changes we offer an unlimited amount of changes until you are happy with the design and materials being installed! We want to make sure your sensory gym is everything you’ve dreamed of.
Once we have agreed on the design and layout we will send over a contract that needs to be signed. The contract simply states that both parties have agreed upon the layout and cost. After the contract is signed we will begin milling your sensory gym. All of the preparatory work is done by our master carpenters who specialize specifically in sensory gym installation. In most cases the average time from concept to completion is anywhere from three days to one week.
Fun Factory delivers your sensory gym. Nothing shows up in a box, prompting you to read the instruction manual. Depending on your distance from our manufacturing facilities the trip to you will take no more than a day. Everything is wrapped for quality assurance purposes. If for some reason something is damaged Fun Factory will replace it at no charge to the customer.
Everything is custom installed for your convenience and safety. Your installers are fast, friendly, and very detail oriented. We treat our customers as family and hope to maintain that friendship even after the installation. If something wasn’t accounted for in the design layout each and every Fun Factory vehicle is equipped to be able to build and mill an entire clinic from scratch right at your location. In addition to a fully equipped vehicle, the crew leader and his team are the most effective, efficient, and friendly carpenters you will ever have the privilege to work with.
After five years in practice, I decided that I needed to upgrade the look of my office to allow for optimal patient care. Upon researching some possibilities, I came across the Fun Factory Sensory Gym. I immediately called the company to purchase my own gym unit. We scheduled an install date and in three short days, my gym and my vision were complete. My patients and their parents walk in and are amazed at the beautiful and fun set up. I truly feel that my patients are getting the most effective and efficient care because I have the best equipment to address their individual needs. The Kaufman Children’s Center was proud to announce an exciting upgrade made here at the KCC. Over a long weekend in late January 2013, we completed a huge remodel to our sensory gym.
